In 1990, Jasper Morrison introduced the Universal System, a plywood storage solution with cast-aluminum wheels.
Architect Osvaldo Borsani designed the S88 folding chair for the studio Tecno in the 1950s.
Laminating curved plywood and fitting it between two cantilever frames made the production of the “31″ armchair easy, and it gained popularity for its lightweight and comfortable design. The chair’s appeal is enhanced by its natural lines.
The Achter Stool seamlessly transitions from an office chair to an evening coffee table. Its unique three-dimensional movement encourages dynamic sitting, promoting wakefulness through feather-like motions, loosening back muscles and enhancing hip flexibility with hip circles.
Using a single piece of plywood for the chair back and seat, the Paimio armchair was originally designed for the Paimio Tuberculosis Sanitorium.
