What is Uncommon Projects?

Architect Alan Drumm and product designer James Hoy opened Uncommon Projects in London, combining their knowledge of interior design, architecture, and manufacturing. Their appreciation of early modernist aesthetics and love of plywood have propelled them to success in the design scene.

What Do They Make?

They build plywood kitchens and other furniture that marries function with modernist design.

Our Favorite Piece

The sustainable FSC hardwood-veneered plywood carcass is complemented by doors veneered in cork or laminate, available in various color options. The sliding doors are top-hung for smooth, reliable movement. Each unit comes with a batten for wall hanging and detachable solid wood legs.
